Job Responsibilities – Billing Coordinator
PrideStaff Financial, a recruiting firm specializing in general accounting and financial positions, is seeking a dynamic and industrious Billing Coordinator for their client.
Job Summary: Under direct supervision, compiles data, and prepares & researches basic customer invoices in accordance with department and policies, practices and procedures. Support company employees with office administration activities. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Wages: Based on experience.
Shift: Days - Monday through Friday.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Billing Coordinator job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
· Compiles invoice data and prepares invoices, listing items sold, amounts due, credit terms and dates of shipment ensuring coding is correct for services provided and deadlines are met.
· Reconcile and audit supporting invoice documentation, items on invoice/ bill of lading/inventory sheet to ensure invoice accuracy.
· Prepares and distributes monthly customer statements.
· Provides customer support to internal departments and invoiced customers; attempts first call resolution by identifying, researching, and resolving customer issues; follows-up if first call resolution not possible.
· Prepares spreadsheets analyzing data to support management’s requests for information.
· Periodically reviews and updates customer credit files.
· Tracks equipment agreements
Job Requirements – Billing Coordinator
Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
Candidates who fit the following criteria are encouraged to apply.
· Invoicing/billing or accounts receivable experience
· Basic understanding of accounting principles.
· Require 2 (two) or more years of office experience, preferably in a customer service environment.
· Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
· Experience in an enterprise accounting system is a plus.
